Mint your own token

Minting a token here means one transaction: the full supply is minted once, put on a bonding curve, and nobody can ever mint more.

Mint and launch

How minting works

  1. One fixed supply: 1 billion tokens are minted once, in the launch transaction. There is no mint function after that.
  2. Most of it goes on the curve: 800 million are sold on the bonding curve. Buyers get tokens at the curve’s price from the first block.
  3. The rest goes into the pool: At graduation the other 200 million are paired with the curve’s funds in a pool whose liquidity is locked forever.

Questions

Do I need to write or deploy a contract?

No. The contract is deployed for you when you launch.

How many tokens are minted?

1 billion, once. The supply is fixed for good.

Who gets the minted tokens?

Nobody gets a free allocation. They are sold on the bonding curve, and the rest goes into the locked pool at graduation. You can buy some yourself in the launch transaction.

Is minting a token the same as minting an NFT?

No. An NFT is one unique item. A token is a supply of identical units that people can buy and sell in any amount.
